I am a trained jeweler (not currently practicing) who works in the fine and contemporary jewelry world.

I am passionate about all jewelry from antique to contemporary pieces and have a keen interest in the creative process and how jewelers are inspired.

I created this blog to be a forum in which contemporary jewels and jewelers are appreciated. Contemporary jewellery should not be looked at as the sum of its parts but as a valuable work of art. Viewers don’t add up the cost of paint and canvas when valuing a painting; neither should they calculate the bullion and stone costs when appreciating a piece of jewellery.
